The Bedrooms

There are two bedrooms in the upper storey of the century-old house. Each has its own private bathroom. Skylights in all of the rooms on the upper floor provide a bright, airy feeling. It is supplemented by central air-conditioning if needed. This portion of the house is completely private, being separate from the newer section of the house where the Innkeeper lives.

The Quilt Room

The name of this room reflects the seven family quilts which cover the beds and decorate the walls. All of the quilts are handmade; two are over 100 years old. The window in this room provides a bird's-eye view of the sunken garden. The room is furnished in solid maple.

The Bonnet Room

The flaired window casement through the fourteen-inch stone wall resembles the bonnets worn by the local Mennonite women and gives the room its name. The bed is a new Queen-sized with duvet.
